THE INVENTION OF THE CAMERA

Alexander Wolcott was born in 1804 in New York.

He was a dentist and an inventor.

Alexander Wolcott invented the camera in 1840.

Well, he did not invent the camera but he 

 patented it the first.

The camera did not have a lens.

He opened a photographic shop.

The camera is a very important invention. We can take photos and remember moments, people and places.

Now we use digital cameras. But the first cameras were not digital.

He died in 1844.
